They also talked to homeless people in Civic Center Park in order to gain a better understanding of some of the causes of homelessness, some of the barriers the homeless encounter while attempting to access resources (or have caused them to discontinue accessing resources) and some of the concerns they have with law enforcement practices and policies that target the homeless.Tuesday, August 26, 2008
